Hornitos (little oven)

We buried Dave in sand, so of course all of the kids wanted to have a turn... here is Hailey right before she broke out of the sand.
Kim running out to find the perfect wave to try out her new body board from Christmas.
The waves in Hornitos are much better than in Antofagasta.
Loving the watermelon.
Hailey seeing how her 'boat' holds up in the ocean.
Dave coming in after body boarding (yes Paige, that is the one you broke;)).
Ava & Carlos headed down to the water to fill Ava's bucket.
Jinnie loved sitting at the picnic table... what a big girl!
Dave enjoying the Chilean version of Pringles (though you can get Pringles here).
On Saturday we drove just over an hour north with the Rubilars to a little beach town called Hornitos, or little oven. The sand was perfect and the waves were amazing (except for a little scare with some strong undertow for the body-boarders for a bit). So sorry to tease you with these pictures when you are in the middle of winter... feel free to visit;)
