I'm Being Followed...
On a happier note, I have my new camera! On a sad note, my computer is being too slow to even attempt uploading the camera's software so that I can post the pictures of my girls having a water balloon fight with their friends. Hopefully tomorrow it will be faster.

Answers to Your Questions
Ha ha! That is too funny because I was thinking, "Kim must be pregnant, that is why she is not feeling up to blogging" I just want to see cute pictures of your familia!
So funny! I think a lot of people were thinking that (it's very typical 'pregnant Kim' behavior to not communicate via phone, internet, etc. when I have morning sickness). Pictures... sad. Hopefully our new camera will be here next week, then I'll endulge you.

Since I am great with child, here's your question: Before they actually came along, how many children did you want to have? And now that they are here, how many children do you want to have?
Wow Rachel... I'm so slow that you're not prego anymore! Congrats on your beautiful baby! Before Hailey finally joined our family I wanted to have at least 6 children, but the more the merrier. Now that I have 1/2 of that I still want the other half and more. Why does it have to be so hard to get pregnant?

how did you celebrate Halloween in Chile? And what kinds of plans do you have for the upcoming holidays?
Each year we seem to celebrate differently. This year was a national holiday, so we got together with our (mostly) gringo friends for a bbq, games & costumes. I was Sarah Palin & Dave was McCain. After that I took the girls trick-or-treating and when it was time for them to go to bed we hired a sitter & went to a party with some more gringos. It was fun to dress up... haven't done that for a long time!
For Thanksgiving there were 80 of us that went to one of the mission presidents homes (we have 3 mission presidents in our ward) for a big celebration. We all brought 3 dishes to share and it was great! Our 3 years in Antofagasta were each different. The 1st year we just had pie because Dave had to work late & I couldn't find an turkey... just parts of a turkey (breast, thighs, etc). The 2nd one was right after Jinnie was born & my mom was in town. We invited all of our gringo (and part gringo) friends. The 3rd year we invited our closest Chilean friends... I went all out & made everything (a million pies, rolls from scratch, turkey, sweet potato suflee, etc) was sooo glad to have a maid to clean up all of my baking messes for the entire week prior to Thanksgiving.

So I was thinking, did I miss a post about your new place, or perhaps you haven't included any pics of your new digs. Are you in a house? Where exactly? Did the maid thing ever work out? OK, I have to admit I haven't kept up with my blogging because I AM pregnant, but that also meant that I wasn't making the rounds and keeping up with the friends' blogs. Sorry if this is going to force you to be redundant!
I still haven't posted house pics... infact I haven't taken any, so we'll have to wait for the new camera. We're in a house in Los Trapenses in La Dehesa. Ya, we're snobby like that;). It's very different than living in Anto... infact, I often feel like I'm in the USA. The maid thing hasn't worked out yet... we just keep trying & trying, but I think this time we may have found a match... when I gave her a tour of the house she took notes & asked a lot of questions... big plus. Congrats on your pregnancy! And I totally get the not keeping up with the blogs thing... here's hoping you feel well enough to check blogs & to me having a computer that functions properly so that I can!

I'll have Dave send Ena an email... she is a super nice lady who has been through a lot the last few years. Besides Copiapo, where else did you serve? Glad we can live your dream for you... I'll try to do better at updating. By the way, your wife is beautiful and has a great name (it's the same as one of our daughters).

Oh man...everyone ALWAYS thinks this huh? Dood, IF...and that is a BIG IF it ever happens to me again, I will blog daily and keep it a secret until I deliver. Tee hee.I love reading about your life...I know we hardly know eachother, but it is such a treat to come here. How do you get your hair looking so cute?Oh and I second pics of your new home.
Good plan! Or at least get your husband to post pretending to be you while you're busy puking. I really do hope it happens to you again though. I can't think of anyone who deserves it more. I feel the same about you... I love going to your blog and learning more about the friend that I've only met once, and you were so busy taking pictures of a million people that we didn't even get to talk much... wahoo for email & blogs! My hair? When it actually looks good it's thanks to electric curlers. They are my best friend (next to Dave). Pics of the house to come. Someday.

1. Who is your favorite brother-in-law on your side of the family?2. When are you coming back to Utah?3. How is the Quelf playing going down in Chile?
1. I choose to ignore this question. Remember how mad you were last time you asked something similar? Ya, I'm not going there again. 2. We plan to be in Utah in June. Am I excited? Yes. Do I want to live there? Yes. Will it ever happen? Probably not. 3. After the holidays we'll have another Quelf party. We love it. Our friends love it. Our friends inlaws bought it after hearing about how much fun it is. Amazing that we're so willing to do such things without any alcohol involved. *note... there has never been alcohol involved in my life... I just imagine that the types of things I do during the game of Quelf are usually done when under the influence.

What is your favorite Christmas tradition? Christmas food? Christmas story? What holiday plans do you have this year?p.s. please post a current family photo
Favorite tradition... hmmm... I have lots of favorites. Putting Christmas cards on the back of the front door (although we get a lot of them late in Chile, so it turns into a summer tradition... once we go a couple of weeks without a new card I finally take them down, usually around Valentines Day), taking goodies to friends & neighbors, having the girls open pj's on Christmas Eve, watching the girls play with the Fisher Price nativity all season, helping others, etc., etc. Favorite food(s): peanut butter balls, candy cane ice cream, cheese balls, Christmas punch, fudge. We're planning on heading to Argentina for Christmas again. This time Mendoza. It's about a 5 hour drive and I'm so excited for the food (especially the meat), getting to know a new area, and spending time with my family.

Hey, doing Christmas cards. What is your new address? Are you alive?
You're so good! I thought about doing cards this year, but then I decided against it. Maybe next year. Did you get my email? My Reno address is the same. And I'm alive. I think.

Did you know that there is a fan in the Nursing Room at the Riverward chapel that has your last name on it, and every week when I take Cooper in there for Sunday School (nap time) I think of you. We miss you guys!! We can hardly believe we're outta here in June! Your kids are sooo cute, and I think I'm going to try that playdough cookie recipe. It looks awesome. Happy Holidays!!
Haha, send it my way! It is sooo hot, we could really use all the fans we can get:) I think I'll start carving my name on the backs of pews & in bathroom doors... whatever it takes to not be forgotten! We miss you too! I love your blog & your beautiful children! Wow, can't believe you're time in Riverview is almost up. Sad for the ward. You have my permision to add your name to the fan before you leave.
Having a Heart Attack?
Our camera died at the same time. Sadness. Our new one arrived to our Reno address on Monday, so hopefully it will be in our hands prior to Christmas.
So what is going on here? Let's see. It's hot. HOT, HOT, HOT. You may think I'm bragging, but when you don't have central air, there's not much to brag about. Also, when I was house-hunting all of the homes except for 2 had pools... we are living in one of them. Yesterday the girls enjoyed the sprinklers and hose.
Hailey & Ava had their last day of school on Wednesday. I really like their school, teachers and the director of infants (the person over preschool-1st grade). I'm sure next year their teachers will be just as good, but it's tough having to say goodbye- in the British school the teachers moved with them from preschool unil kindergarten, so we haven't experienced this yet (other than with the move).
We're very excited for this summer. Jinnie is loving having her sisters home to play with. I'm excited for some of my dear friends from Antofagasta to spend part of their vacations with us.
As far as maids, a new one started on Wednesday. I'm really getting sick of them not working out, but I'm feeling good about this one (so far). I guess time will tell. We had no idea how good we had it in Antofagasta with Susan.
Hmmm... I think that's about it. I'll try to be better.
