We're Safe

Thanks for all of the emails, calls, etc. these last few days. We officially have electricity and water, though the phones still aren't working (other than Vonage). Once the electricity came on it took me a few hours to 'dare' to watch the news. Strange, I know, but it's one thing to be in my own little bubble, and to know that my friends and family are doing well. It's a whole different story to see just how bad it was/is. I only watched the news for 1/2 hour, but I cried the whole time. I feel so blessed and so helpless at the same time. Anyway, it's late and my thoughts are jumbled. Hopefully this week I will share 'our story' on the blog. Until then, goodnight.
