4th of July!

We spent the 4th (ok, the 3rd... the 4th was a Sunday) at Aunt Ann & Uncle Walt's house. It was so great eating all of the yummy Wilkey salads and homemade ice creams:) It was also the first time since my wedding (11 years ago) that all of the girl cousins my age have been together. Emily, Amy, Shelly, Sara & I were all born November 1979- July 1980 (Dustin was also born in this time frame, but he wasn't in town). Please don't mind my strange head-tilt... it's the only picture on my camera where all eyes were open (and with Wilkey eyes that can sometimes be difficult, haha). Jinnie thoroughly enjoyed her first experience with sparklers. Ava thought the sparklers and all of the fireworks were 'awesome'.
Hailey felt quite nervous being so close to the fireworks and sparklers, so she kept grandma company.
When we returned home (aka my parents house), Uncle Nathan read the girls a book that calls my mom a cockroach (it's called 'Wilkey the White House Cockroach'... my moms maiden name is Wilkey... her married name is White).

Chandra, I think the book was a gift to my mom from one of our parents cousins... Kent maybe? No clue where he got it.
